Zambia Sugar Cutting Jobs

The largest sugar production company in Zambia is experience turbulent times with management deciding to reduce labour force.

Zambia Sugar Corporate Affairs Manager Sally Namutowe announced that management had let employees know that they are affecting a voluntary separation program.

There will be a minimum of 10% reduction in annual wage costs for the company.

Operations are in danger following a number of challenges, Sally Namutowe stated that these bold changes were made in partnership with emloyees to ensure that the company can remain on the market.

Namutowe said the voluntary separation program started on July, 5th 2018 and will run up to 31st August, 2018 and remains open all permanent employees.
