Shepolopolo Remain Unbeaten At Women's AFCON

Shepolopolo remain unbeaten at the Women’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) following their win over Tunisia on Wednesday.

The only goal of the match was scored in stoppage time by second-half substitute Avell Chitundu. Chitundu scored a header in the 90th minute at the match which was held in Casablanca.

Shepolopolo had scored a goal in the 69th minute by Xiomara Mapepa’s freekick however this was disallowed as it was called as offside.

Keeper Hazel Nali has also been praised for her work as Shepolopolo’s goal keeper who made some fine saves throughout the match.

The win saw Zambia top Grop B on four points following a goalless draw against Cameroon in their opening match on Sunday.
